RED HOOK CRIT BROOKLYN 2016

It took me longer than I actually intended it to but finally I managed to put together this set of images from the 2016 Red Hook Crit Brooklyn. It was the 5th time that I shot a race of the Red Hook Criterium series and 2nd time for me in New York. This time I got commissioned by David Trimble, the race director, to document the event, which was a bit different for me as I documented the last three races for several teams and my first one ever just out of fun for myself as friends were racing. So I was a bit more open in shooting as I didn't have to look out for certain riders. Well, I still have to learn to become a man of words in the blog and I actually really would like to but I think the images are what you are here for, so I'm gonna leave it with them this time and for now.

There's just one thing I want to link to, a blog entry that Safa wrote on his blog addressing the hate that came up after the event concerning the big crash at the start of the men's feature event: https://dvntline.com/2016/05/10/the-red-hook-hate/

Oh, before I forget this: teams, I got plenty more. If you're looking for footage, get in touch.
