RED HOOK CRIT LONDON 2015
In July I travelled to London to accompany my girl and my friends and team mates in team MARK IT ZERO to London for the RED HOOK CRIT. Besides documenting the race for myself and the team I was also commissioned by the AVENTON FACTORY TEAM from the US and IRD SQUADRA LAB CORSE from Italy to shoot their teams at the event. In this blog post I'll show you a collection of images from the race the way I experienced it. The images of AVENTON and IRD are up to come in seperate blog posts later.
As always the RED HOOK CRIT was lots of fun and excitement. To me it seemed the course was way more difficult than the Brooklyn one in April and so there were quite a number of crashes, some crashed real hard. I saw lots of images on the net showing these crashes, I for myself decided to not show my images of these as I want the sport to be attractive, not the danger that comes with. An exception is one image in which my friend Max from team FIXEDPOTT just rushed by a hard crash and to me this image points out on what high level these races take place and the risks the riders are willing to take.
So, enjoy this set of images.
