FISHERMAN'S STRONGMAN RUN, ANOTHER WAY OF SEEING IT
In the last years I had the chance to document the FISHERMAN'S FRIEND STRONGMAN RUN for FISHERMAN'S FRIEND three times. While the run itself is a lot of fun and always colorful and all of the 14000 runners enjoy every minute of it, being all dressed up or just in standard running gear, I decided to take a different approach with this re-edit of the images I shot over the years. I think the grainy black and white look make them more atmospheric, I think the power and yet rawness of the run is more tangible. I like how movement and impression is focused on rather than on all the colorful costumes. I'd definitely say these speak a lot more to me. I know it's not the way every commercial client would love to see this, but maybe it helps giving them another view on it as well.
